We currantly have someone who works in an assembly role,he is starting to suffer from pains in his fingers and hands possibly due to havs,has any one got any ideas on what would be a reasonable time before he was but on another job

Hi Andy,

Not an expert here but if HAVS is possible he should be on another job now, straight away, while you sort out what if any safe system of work can be introduced. Has he been seen by Occy Health?

Hi Andy,

I would have thought that some repetitive strain type risk was more likely than HAVs. Do you rotate the jobs that your personnel do?
