I am just wondering whether you think PIAB in Ireland (Personal Injury Assessment Board) has "worked" in Ireland?
The number of claims has appeared to have decreased however we might never know the extent of the number of dodgy / fraudulent claims being settled as the amounts are fairly lower than might be if the defending company/insurer went to court after the PIAB ruling.
I am just interested in hearing various views as I myself am undecided.

5 years ago our el insurance was 45000 plus today it is less than 16000.

I say that was all the evidence needed.

From what i can see Martin is saying that 5 years ago his company was paying £45000+ for their annual employers liability insurance, but now they are only paying less than £16000 per year for their EL insurance. This represents that claims have gone down dramatically since then, so Martin is saying YES the PIAB has worked.

Hope this helps.
