Hiya,

Does anyone know or who can recommend a legal training provider who undertakes training covering PACE interviews?

Regards.

DP.

Please be very careful when selecting a competent trainer. There are some folk who know little about this subject who are selling their skills here. This is a specialist area.

Some simple questions that may assist.

1. How many PACE interviews have you conducted. ( I mean conducted as a prosecutor not as a solicitor)

2. How does PACE affect the gathering of evidence?

3. What is the effect of section 34 in relation to the caution when considering H&S offences

I could go on here, but I suppose I'm trying to say buyer beware - goodluck and drop me a line if you need clarification

Hi DP

The simple answer to your question is NO.

Suggest, yRegards, ou need to find a top notch corporate law firm whose specialisms include H&S.

If you want to contact me offline I will discuss. [I do quite a lot of expet witness work, and hence get a handle of various firms who know what they dolng re H&S - THOUGH I don't know their skills in training}

Regards, Peter

Contact the CIEH as they often arrange courses on this and similar matters for EHO's.
