Hi All
I am hoping you can help. I am trying to complete the Unit A assignment for the NEBOSH diploma about civil law liabilities to the employer and am hoping someone will be able to provide some pointers, i.e useful websites for general info on civil law duties, definitions of terms and suitable case law examples.
I am draw a real blank!
All help greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Victoria

Hi Victoria,
Safety Photo has a good library of summaries of important safety case law at http://www.safetyphoto.c...k/subsite/case_law_1.htm
There is also a page two, and this is generally a good and entertaining site (if safety's your idea of a good time, anyway),

Get a copy of Munkman on employers liability 14th Edn from your library. If they do not have one, they should be able to get it on an inter-library exchange within a couple of weeks. This will answer your questions.

You might find "Employment Law and Occupational Health" by Joan Lewis and Greta Thornbory (Blackwell Publishing, ISBN 1-4051-4972-8) useful.
