We have a noisy call centre. All the usual things have been considered; directional microphones, sound absorbing partitions etc. One area where they may be some scope for reducing noise is by installing a false ceiling. The original is a brick vaulted design which some have suggested may reflect noise back. I’m a bit of a sceptic and doubt it would make a significant difference in relation to the cost and feel the money would be better spent on covering the walls with sound absorbent materials.

If anyone has any thoughts or experience with regards to the above issues, I would be grateful for your comments.
