What are rules on use of steel saw for cutting concrete? We have been advised that you must suppress and also wear mask, what type of mask would be suitable if water is used?

I presume you mean a "stihl" saw not a steel saw. You should not use a saw with a blade for steel on concrete cus it will take an awful long time to cut. Water suppression is advised as concrete will release levels of respirable crystalline silica dust which is very damaging to lungs etc. If there was no water suppression then you would need a ffp3 rated mask, probabaly a daily disposable in this case, which offers a protection factor of 20. If water is used then you would probably need a ffp2, or possibly lower. If in any doubt, stick with the higher factor for the sake of a few pence because I can almost guarentee that at some stage, someone will cut concrete without water, for whatever reason.
