Posted By S R I work as a H&S Manager for a national retail and logisitics company, based at our national distribution centre. I would be very interested in comparing accident stats with other similar companies in the logistics industry, particularly RIDDOR Accident Incidence Rate. I've used industry stats published by the HSE in the past, but I believe benchmarking with other organisations would give a more accurate indication of our performance. Thanks, Simon.

Posted By Clare Gabriel The HSE is carrying out a benchmarking exercise on its website www.chaspi.info-exchange.com/ where you can sign up, put in data and get some really useful information out. Its really good - we were recommended it by our inspector and have found the stats useful. they also reassure you that by sighing up you will not be under closer scrutiny!!!!
