You can focus on training, information, etc, but you are more than likely going to be treating the 'symptoms as opposed to the disease'. To get to the heart of this problem you would need to look at establishing an effective management system for PPE with clear policies and procedures, and a transparent disciplinary procedure for those employees which do not follow set procedures. Under the principles of vicarious liability, in many cases the employer will be responsible for the actions of employees, inevitably subject to contributory negeligence. If you get to the root cause of the problem and introduce change accordingly I am confident you will get the required results. Regards Rob
