Posted By cakey Hi all,
Could somebody please let me know whether a cappaccino machine operating at 1 bar above atmospheric pressure comes within the scope of the Pressure Systems Regs 2000 and in particular the need for a written scheme of examination?. I am under the impression it would be if above 2 bar. Is this correct?
Many thanks in anticipation of any answers.

Posted By Keith A Martin Hi,
If at work, any closed vessel containing steam whatever its pressure is classed as an pressure vessel, under the PSR 2000.
Although in practice an Pressure system inspection will be an infreqent look see, due to level of risk.
