Posted By Crim Just thought I'd let you all know that I received a request for a CDM H & S Plan yesterday, the job starts on Tuesday. I received the "Pre-construction health and safety plan" by email yesterday afternoon and contains all sorts of references to CDM 1994 and Planning Supervisor etc. F10 does not have a section for the Client signature. I've completed the Plan for delivery to the P C's office Tuesday morning, they will then send it on to the site - 200 miles away? Time available for preparation = one bank holiday weekend!

Posted By peter gotch 1 Hi Crim Clearly your project should have been notified under CDM1994, if you got the information before 6 April. and of course, it probably should have been notified significantly earlier. Regards, Peter

Posted By Crim Nice one Bruce. It's not all negative for me as I have another project starting tomorrow with cabins being delivered and set up, welfare being one of them. Site will be fenced off this week ready for the construction phase to begin next Monday. Fingers crossed?

Posted By The toecap Is that HIGH street. What is a hish street? Is this a street for fish to travel down. I know what you mean though. These big firms lack a great deal of knowledge and we have to pick up the pieces. It bugs me that they get away with this. Sooner or late the new CDM should have them caught out.
