I am looking at putting together an induction checklist for carers about to work in domiciliary care, has anyone got one already, if not has anyone got a generic checklist which i could use as a template. Thank you Saira

always include the emergency procedures re their specific work environment as the first areas to address
Include emergency procedures for both staff and clients as in many cases that industry looks at clients & forgets the workers

I will email you our list - but its a good oppurtunity to get the formal stuff out of the way too - Company Policy, employee duties under H&S law etc. As well as of course emergency, first aid and welfare arrangements, how to contact H&S etc etc
