Hi All,
Would anyone be able to suggest a competitive supplier of integrated cages based around the Liverpool area that can be used with telescopic FLT's, and I must reiterate there is a big onus on the word "competitive".
I tried to source a supplier however the quotes submitted thus far are very expensive and there is no way that I can put these forward to the Procurement Dept.
The reason I ask is because we normally use them more than just for occasional or unforeseen work, so in keeping with the PM28 we are looking to purchase an integrated cage.
Any possible suggestion would be greatly appreciated and help me avoid hair loss!!

Seems to me like you are falling into a situation I was in a few years back. I didn't trust the Procurement dept to source the correct equipment - they always found a cheap deal and less than satisfactory item and then I started to do it all myself.
What should happen is - a need is identified, you have your input (thoughts) and then the others do 'their' job.
We can't help ourselves sometimes.
