Posted By GavinR Hi, I have been advised by an external service provider that we should be providing our grinding machine operators and Nail gun operators with Medium or High Impact safety glasses as an upgrade from our standard safety glasses worn throughout the site. I have trialed goggles at Grade B for this however the operators are strongly against wearing these as they feel they are restrictive, reduce their vision for delicate grinding tasks to small scale and while wearing other PPE such as ear defenders for nail gun tasks. If i could locate safety glasses at Grade B then i feel this would be a help but no one provides these. I actually feel our current protection in adition to machine guards are adequate but he is a specialist. I have googled this and contacted a large suppliers but to no luck. Can anyone help with this? Cheers.
