Good afternoon

I am seeking some advice on the DSE regs and the french equivalent of them. We are a French company and I am trying to ascertain whether the french DSE requirements are significantly different than the UK regs specifically relating to laptop use. If a laptop is used for prolonged periods the UK regs state that the minimum requirements for a workstation should apply, with some exceptions, does this requirement also appear in the equivalent French legislation? Any help would be appreciated.

regards

I looked into this a few weeks back. I'm away from home so don't have direct access to the texts.

However, from memory, the Code du Travail on DSE is very similar to the UK and makes no specific mention of laptops. I suppose they are "assimilated" so the same requirements as for PCs.

A similar request came up here a few weeks ago. Can't remember if I answered it on-line or by e-mail.

If you need confirmation send me an e-mail. I will be back in the office by Friday.
