Posted By Karl Brooks Has anybody heard of the Altrad Plettac scaffolding system? Is it any good and how does it compare to others on the market.

Posted By Robert K Lewis Yes - the main UK office is in Deeside near Chester. Like all modular systems it has its drawbacks but it is one of the big players in manufacture and design.

Posted By Robert K Lewis Plettac scaffolding is over in Deeside. I know there are distributors around the country. They did have some difficulties a few years ago but nothing to do with the quality of their system.
Plus - fast erection and flexible to a degree, a little more so than other systems, I think.
Minus - Difficult for shaped structures but that is the same for all modular systems.
I actually prefer it to kwikstage and sgb system but that is purely personal preferences. They all perform well in the right circumstances.
