Heh,

Can anybody give me some ideas on software packages available for DSE Training and risk assessment management...

I have aprox 1000 employees and wish to get honest opinions on some of the packages available.

I noticed that for some of the websites relating to this product that there is a requirment to register details and they don't really give you a proper taster...

Any assistance would be greatfully accepted..

Rgds,

Allen

I have worked with a piece of softwar I quite like - it can be run on your own system or can be hosted by the supplier on-line (I would recommend this route as it is kept up to date better) It provides an on-line training programme and a self assessment package for the individual user. It comes with a good management package whereby you can track progress on training and on risk assessments. Provides e-mail links to users and has a task management element. You can set up your own user groupings to ease analysis.

If it sounds like what you are looking for let me know and I will send you details. I am a consultant who has used the system, not a seller by the way.

Steve,

Glad to hear your not just trying to sell me something too.

I would be most grateful if you could give me any direction regarding this software or a link to a website where I could trial some of these courses and assessments.

I've used a company before that provides this sort of solution. There is an upfront purchase cost and an annual maintenance cost that ensures it is kept up to date. they can customise it to your requirements and I've found them very useful. Don't think I can put the name up here as the Mods probably wouldn't like that but if you email me direct I can give you contact details.
