Hello

I need to produce management guidance notes and risk assessments for taking vulnerable adults on adult education off site visits.
I'm particularly interested in ensuring we meet current legislation on safeguarding vulnerable adults as well as health and safety legislation.

I'd really appreciate anyone's views on this, especially if you have been involved in a similar exercise

thanks

Hi Sue

Try the DFES guidance 'Safeguarding children and safer recruitment in education' and 'H & S on educational visits' I know its not directly relevant to vulnerable adults but there may be some pointers for you.
Also, It may be useful to contact your local Specialist Independant College for advice - they arrange offsite activities for vulnerable adults on a weekly basis & Im sure would be happy to give advice

Regards

Vicky
