An employee with an arthritic condition, who requires a taller-than-average desk and chair, is changing roles and moving from a personal workstation to a hot-desking environment. She can take her preferred chair with her, and should be able to move it around within the hot-desk area. However, creating a tall desk could be a problem. I can see three options, and need to cost them:

automatically height adjustable desks (good for everyone but ££££)

a couple of taller desks with tall footrests for other users (a bit awkward)

keep the normal-height desks but make the screen height easily adjustable and provide something to raise the keyboard & mouse area.(probably even more awkward)
Does anyone know of any lightweight keyboard-raising devices of this type?

What would you do?

What would I do? Accept the limitations of "hot desking" and continue to provide the individual with the desk, chair and whatever else they need in their new work environment, OR leave the person where he/she currently is.
You already have a solution for this individual. Leave well alone.
