Posted By Rommel I have been tasked to carry out a risk assessment and prepare method statement for some work that will take place in a under ground car park (9 M deep X 11 M wide X 14 M long) on a construction site, it involves diamond drilling, using hilti gun, using jet wash to clean the concrete piles and building walls... etc etc. It is completely encased by concrete piles and the floor is as flat as a pan cake, but my main concern is the fork lift that will be operating above the ground which produces a lot of CO2. Should there be constant ventilation? Should I get contractors to carry out survey for harmful gases or contaminations? Will the water used for cleaning piles be contaminated? If so, how should it be disposed? I would appreciate any advice and information on this matter Many thanks to you all.
