Visit the Leeds City Council risk tutorial. There is an exercise included which you may find useful.

I page of scenarios and get staff to fill out risk assessments and then discuss what they have put and why etc.

Some examples of scenario's...

The caretakers are frequently given the task by a manager to move unlabelled boxes of different sizes and weights from reception to the store room on the 2rd floor, there is a lift however it is frequently out of order.

A contract cleaner is used by the freeholder to clean the stairs of a four storey building which is occupied by 2 small businesses (one of which is an advice centre – so frequent visits from members of the public)

A new chemical has just been brought in to the workplace, however many staff are complaining of skin irritation.
