Posted By tal Has anybody got a generic/ sample risk assessment for carrying out road side repairs to vehicles or plant. i.e. utilities type work where traffic management is in place but fitters have to attend to repair broken down machinary. Any help would be much appreciated Talosh

Posted By Martin Gray Tal You would be advised to get a copy of PAS 43 Publicly Available Specification - Safe working of vehicle breakdown, recovery and removal operations - Management system specification from British Standards Institute. The document was revised in 2006 and is seen by the HSE and Highways Agency as the minimum standards to work to on the carriageway Martin
