Please could any one with either industry specific or their own company stats share with me their annual rate of lost work days due to ill health per 100 employees.

Or if anyone knows where this information already exists ( I have been looking ) any help would be much appreciated.

Ours is around 200 days per 100 persons which seems to me to be high, though I have read that on average every employee has 5-6 absence days per annum which would make the UK average 5-600 days per 100 employees

Thanks in advance,

Des

Is it work related ill health that you are interested in? If so the HSE publish these sorts of stats. Suggest you check their website.

If it's not work related ill health there are probably some HR related sites that may contain this info. Additionally Dep of Health may publish this type of info
