I posted a question a few weeks ago about NGC courses and suggested course providers.
In terms of salary for someone who has no formal NEBOSH qualification what do you suggest is a good starting salary, bearing in mind it is in London. Full NEBOSH courses will be made available. We have a candidate in mind with internal experience who might suit the bill, so I am trying to gauge your thoughts and expectations if it were you wanting the job. What would you be looking for in terms of salary? Industry is retail by the way. Will invovle travel, training, the usual type of thing. I have a figure in mind already.
Cheers
Phil

Posted By Linda Westrupp Around here it would be more like £12,000 to £14,000 but then, we are not in London and senior, fully qualified are notoriously poorly paid in the public sector. It really does depend on where you are so I would compare other, similar posts in your area. Linda

Posted By Merv Newman How about 18 to 20k as a starter with a pay rise of £1000 for each reduction in the accident numbers and a reduction in pay for any increase in the numbers ?
Discuss.
This should put the felix catus amongst the columbia livia domestica

Posted By SeanThompson Merv,
You cant rely on one man to reduce accidents, its got to be everyone's responsibility. It would only work if you had this type of scheme for everyone? surely?
