Posted By Antony McManus I'm looking to do a distance learning degree in OSH. Applied to a certain Uni last year and was told i wasn't qualified enough to enrol.....despite having MIOSH etc.
Realise that this will, probably, have been a topic before but could do with some advice ASAP.
Cheers

Posted By Jimmy R Hi, I'm going down a similar route and have found that the University of Greenwich have suitable courses. You may want to try them?

Posted By CFT Portsmouth may be worth a shout, not certain on the distance aspect though.

I have just beeen through this on the Study Forum. I'm in the same boat as you, I'm CMIOSH and Loughborough won't accept this or my distance learning NVQ4 as qualifications (NEBOSH only). Portsmouth Uni do distance learning and they accept NVQ4 as a qualification. I'm going with them to do my MSc.

Posted By stephen williamson Silly so and so's. I got onto the Masters course at Salford part time via the Accredited Prior Learning route as I don't have a first degree and my IOSH membership is too old to equate to one. This can be done by distance learning and I'd recommend it. Best of luck,
Steve

Posted By Antony McManus Cheers, it was Greenwich that deemed me not qualified or experienced enough to enrol.....
Makes me wonder why I get asked to run HSE on projects, worldwide, when clearly I'm not qualified enough to be there.....if that makes sense.....
Keep the suggestions coming...
