Posted By paul harman Good Morning All
Can anyone help a poor overworked safety manager who has just been told that he must re-write his con phase plan to incorporate all the new ACOP headings by Friday night.
A client is refusing to allow works to start unless this is done, I need, if possible a template.HEEEEELP!!!!
Here's hoping

Posted By David G C Drive out unnecessary paper work is part of CDM. i am surprised the client is refusing works to start unless the Construction phase plan is rewritten the format has not changed much from the last suggested layout... all headings are to be included some do not apply to all projects so IMO the CDM C should be advising the client whether the construction phase plan is suitably prepared, developed to allow works to commence onsite which remains a "live document" to be supplemented as the project develops by the introduction of supporting documents such as Contractor method statements, risk assessments or any documentation relevant to the health and safety of the project. Raise your concern with the CDM C who in turn should communicate with the Client in the meantime the previous layout but the following link may be of some use to you. http://citb-construction...struction_Phase_Plan.pdfRegards David
