Hi Emma
You can buy a copy for £5 if you go to
http://www.nasc.org.uk/publications.shtml

They have a variety on there.

Emma

No one is going to be able to send you a copy electronically due to copyright restrictions.

And 05 is currently the latest version.

Recent thread on same:

Hi Emma,

If you’re looking to see how scaffolders are supposed to be erecting scaffolding then you need SG4:You. It is an excellent pocket guide really aimed at those on site and published by the NASC. Judging by the way many scaffolders are working few have read it and even fewer use the advanced guardrail system, this I understand is now being used at T5. I have some material put together for a scaffold course I deliver at Construction Health and Safety Group at Chertsey and may be able to assist if you drop me an email imcnally@rdyon.co.uk.

best of luck

Ian

SG04:05 is a guidance on the wearing of fall arrest / prevention equipment.

These are only guidelines and are not legally binding as the off-stricter methods.

The wearing of harnesses is not required until the Scaffolders are above 4m. TG20 is the latest guidance on the erection of scaffolding to which superseded the old BS5973 and the introduction of EN/BS 12811-1.

www.hses.co.uk offers training packages for these courses, drop them a line to info@hses.co.uk and they should help you.
