Hi all,
After some direction please. I need to get hold of any best practice guidance on the use of chop saws and abrasive wheels in the construction industry. So far my efforts have only led me to guidance relating to wood working.
Many thanks
Kev

Kevin,
most hazards and controls would be transferable from woodworking to steel or construction type use. Noise, dust, ejected debris, correct use, suitable materials, training, PPE, havs (possibly?), manual handling, electrical, jigs, fixtures etc

Thanks for response, I understand it can be adapted fairly easily just a bit strapped for time so was looking for one specifically that could be used as a toolbox talk. Looks like a late night then.
Thanks again

I have a manufacturers safety manual for our grind wheels if you would like a copy by e-mail.
Its pretty much the same info for all these machines.
