Hello all,

I understand that the maximum penalties for Breaches of Health and Safety legislation are generally understood to be £20.000 in the Magistrates Court and unlimited in the crown Court.

My query is whether there is a difference in the maximum fine between a breach of the 1974 etc Act and a breach of Regulations under the Act. My colleague thinks there is a maximum fine under Regulations but we cannot find where he might have got this information from.
