The construction phase plan is about how you manage the safety aspects of the project during construction. How you manage will depend a lot on the management structures and style of your company. Other people’s templates will not necessarily gel with what and how you do things in y our company and in fact may be at odds with them.

You already have a H&S plan (specific to a project or generic?). That’s a reasonable starting point for modification. Have a look at Appendix 3 of the ACoP where you will find useful pointers on what your plan may need to include (not everything will be necessary, particularly with reference to section 3). If you need a template, you can build a reasonable one from this ACoP.
