Posted By Heathrow Good afternoon everybody, I was wondering if anyone had a template questionaire to hand out to drivers questioning then on any ergonomic problems ? I've checked a lot of the usual suspect sites and not really found anything.....

Posted By GARRY WIZZ Just a thought,
given that the manufacture most likely spent a small fortune on R&D before the vehicle became available and the vehicle has been approved for use,
would this negate the need for a RA. I used to get this one arise with my HGV drivers who had seats that cost thousands.
The only time I seriously considered moving onto a RA is if someone had a medical condition.

Posted By Kieran J Duignan You're unlikely to find a reliable and valid template of the kind you refer to.
For specifying appropriate posture for a vehicle driver in order to control risks of musculskeletal disorders calls for fairly rigorous understanding of the biomechanics and physiology. For you need to calculate the eye reference point, the seat reference point, the hands reference points and the foot reference points.
This is explained in 'Bodyspace', S Pheasant and C Haslegrave, CRC Press, Third edn. 2006
