As we know the new noise regs do not come into force for the music and entertainment sectors until April next year owing to the paticular difficulties they face.

I am in the process of investigating the impact of the new regs on these sectors (in particular social clubs) and what they really need to be doing right now in order to prepare.

Can anyone please help with any research/info/websites which may be useful?

Many thanks,

Bob

Have you tried asking the Club & Institute Union what they are recommending thier members to do? They are generally quite well up on these things although not the sector experts. They do have a good standard of knowledge and it will give some gyuidnace on which way to go.

Hi Bob
The Production Services Association has done a lot of work on this
www.psa.org.uk
Contact Andy Lenthall gm@psa.org.uk may be able to help you out with some specifics, what it means for the live entertainment industry and so on. He would also be able to point you towards other industry representatives doing work on the subject.
Regards
Mike
