Posted By halesowen Baggie The vinyl floor tiles in our ladies toilets are quite slippy (the tiles are not slippy because they are wet). Does anybody know of a product I can apply to the tiles to make them less slippery?

Posted By DavidW Hi If you have a look at any of the safety catalogues or Facilities Management type ones there should be loads to look at. One you might try would be www.safetyshop.comI have no financial interest just happen to have their book on the bookshelf. Best of luck

You have a couple of options; if they are of a traditional thermo plastic nature, then there are either acrylic or metalized seals that can be applied, both contain non slip polymers in them and are water based to aid stripping and replacement of said seal; they are not perfect when wet but they do offer some degree of protection.
Another option is to simply replace the floor with a more conventional non slip vinyl one, specifically impregnated with carborundum particles which should NOT be sealed under any circumstance.
Finally if you get a quality cleaning contractor in to strip the tiles right back, and once done the maintenance should be with a simple proprietary cleaner, this I suspect would be a quick fix as undoubtedly there is probably a build up of a mixture of substances, one of your main culprits will be liquid soap, so perhaps replacing or moving the soap may also help.
All the best
