We are thinking of purchasing some second hand tower scaffolding from a local hire shop. We have inspected the scaffolding and it is is very good condition. The question is does the supplier need to supply any certificatin with this unit? I believe not but just need to check.

If your buying a tower then you will need person(s) trained in the inspection and use of said tower.
1 day course
That should keep you in good health on the purchase of said tower

The only thing he must provide you with are the manufacturers instructions on how to erect the towers etc.
Make sure they comply with EN 1004.
