Good afternoon Colleagues

Does anyone know of any specific requirements / courses etc that are required to be undertaken in order to carry out statutory inspections under LOLER. For example thorough examinations of Fork Lift Trucks, Vehicle tail lifts, Cherry pickers etc

Obviously I am aware that any person undertaking a thorough examination has to be competent but was just wondering whether there are any special requirements / Formal training ( Obviously relevant to each piece of kit

Thanks in anticipation

CITB Plant Inspectors course covers Plant Inspections as well as Lifting Tackle this would certainly be a good base to start from.

Search engine CITB and you will be able to source this course.
