Posted By Hugo I recently carried out a fire risk assessment on a small office premises. I am an ex- operational sub-officer, watch manager. I have no problems with the transition from the statutory regs for LAFB inspection the RRFSO, type risk assessment. However I am trying to put together a presentable format for the assessment findings and further advice.
I have an outlined format and looked at the basic proformas post online by some Fire Services etc. Can anyone lead me in a direction to finding a suitable, professional proforma.
Has anyone used any software available online- ie the type available for pda with spreadsheets to "tick box" which claims to reduce inspection time by 50% ???
Many thanks.

Posted By Chris Pope You can use PAS 73 (a type of BS "deemed to satisfy" risk assessment proforma) on license if you attend a 3.5 day course run for the fire brigades by Colin Todd. I went to one as a non Brigade consultant and was made very welcome and found the course very instructive. I don't know what the cost is now but it cost me only £400.
