Bit of an odd one, this...
I've recently started as H&S manager with a new company (new to me, that is), and inherited a set of procedures and policies. One of the procedures describes pre-use vehicle checks - the usual stuff like make sure the lights work, etc.
The section on "Adjustment for comfortable driving" includes the instruction "Adjust seat so your wrist is even with the top of the steering wheel". I've been asked what this means and why - and frankly I don't know. No-one can remember where this came from or why it's in the instructions. Before I just say "disregard this bit", anyone seen this before and know any background?
