Posted By Clare Gabriel You should consult your OH provider, but in the first instance most OH providers will issue a questionnaire to any employee using vibrating equipment to see if there is any signs of any problems. You should also be carrying out a risk assessment - ha and isn't this a hot potato - HSE has provided a useful tool on their website http://www.hse.gov.uk/vibration/hav/index.htm along with a lot of useful information. We found a reputable consultant who helped us but I am of the opinion it is all a bit difficult for the average H&S person to do/understand/deal with. Good luck!!!!
