Hi Shaun !

What tasks are you trying to do with the lightweight platform you have in mind first ? I think if you give a more detailed idea then you'll get some good responses.

John,

Yes Sorry,
we are replacing glass panels in the roof and it is there in order that there can be safe working platform in the future for cleaning and maintenance, in order that the client can conform under CDM as we are re-designing the ladder and rail system to a light weight one, because the old one is to heavy

Kind Regards

Shaun

Shaun

I rather think you are going to need a job specific design on this as there is unlikely to be an off the peg solution.

Hi Shaun,

Fully agree with Bob. Why don't you discuss with a specialist ladder manufacturer.

I have spoken to the likes of Easy Deck, but i am not overly impressed with some of the systems the have suggested.

Kind Regards

Talk to an engineering designer. Manufacturers tend to want to make their standard products fit! You have a unique structure requiring a unique solution.
