Posted By Peter Stringer I will be visiting London from Australia on the 6th & 7th of September this year and would like to take the opportunity to meet or visit OHS colleagues in the the London area.
My particular interest is to find out what is happening in the UK regarding the implementation of OHS Management Systems. I have been working in Australia in assisting companies to develop and implement OHS Management Systems for the last 7 years and would like to share some of my experiences.
I have contacted the HSE but due to workload they are unable to spare anyone to meet with me.

Posted By Simon Walsh Grad IOSH I've just returned from a very enjoyable holiday in Australia which ended in Sydney. I found a lot more interesting things to do than talk to health and safety practitioners there.
Is you visit business or pleasure?

Posted By Kieran J Duignan Peter, I'd be pleased to share my (limited) experiences in the areas of behavioural psychology and person-centred ergonomics in relation to safety at work, if that's of interest to you.
I'm also v. interested in hearing of your own experiences. From what I've read of safety down under (maintly through the HFESA website), you go about it like you go about rugby and take no prisoners.
Victoria is one of the mainline railway stations in central London. I can meet there from 2.00 to 3.30.p.m. on Friday, 7 Sept. Subject to confirmation of 'recognition' details nearer the date.
