Posted By Robert. Times on Saturday. Due to "health and safety" reasons, children have been stopped from riding the donkeys. Instead, they put dummies on the donkeys. Apparently all down to not being able to get an insurer to provide insurance.

Posted By David Bannister Sounds like the insurers are taking an underwriting decision. Their opinion is the risk is too high (or inadequately controlled) for any premiums they may collect.
That's their privilege as commercial undertakings.

Posted By Colin Reeves Problem is that the cause of the change was pressure from insurers, but the press used this as a "H&S bashing" exercise. This is an area that needs addressing by all, especially IOSH at a corporate level.
