Hi

Can someone advise me with this.

I know an individual can have IOSH membership but can a company name do the same? for example, a recruitment company can can get REC accredited, and membership can be revoked for reasons. Is there a body that governs H&S consultancies?

My other question is, Can a company / consultancy have its membership revoked if there is evidence that a member is sending threatening abuse filled with foul language to another accredited health & safety company?

In response to your questions.

1. Only individuals are members of IOSH.

2. There is no body regulating H&S consultancies.

3. If a member of IOSH is acting unprofessionally please contact IOSH who will inform you of the procedure to be followed to make a formal complaint.

Regards

Are you contemplating sending some abusive letters? and worried about loosing your IOSH membership as a consequence?

Only Joking, I'm sorry to hear about any H&S professional who is subject to abuse from another H&S professional.

Those kinds of people do themselves harm in the long run and unfortunately can harm our industry.
