Hi all,

can anyone point me in the right direction for some guidance relative to Cat 4 guarding in relation to automated process lines containing robotic arms? I will probably end up buying BSEN 954 which could take 2+ weeks to arrive, but would appreciate something a little quicker and preferably electronic. Any guidance available?

By the way, I have a copy of HSG43, just wondered if there was anything else available?

Outside of HSG 43, other references might be:

PM41 - Application of photo-electric safety systems to machinery

BS EN 415 - Safety of packaging machines (part 4 deals with robotic palletisers)

BS EN 618/619/620 - Continuous handling equipment, safety and EMC requirements
