Hi,

I have just taken over as FM and have found out the fire marshall's have had no training what so ever.
Can anyone recommend a company who can provide in house training, (I'm based on the South Coast.)
Also is it a requirement for fire marshalls to know how to use fire extinguishers ?

Thanks in anticipation

Tim,

there are loads of training providers out there; as someone already said using your local fire service is a good idea.
Have you considered doing it yourself? I allocated 60 fire marshals for our site and saw the cost was going to be excessive so did a "train the trainer" fire marshal course. I thoroughly enjoyed putting my own course together and delivering it too. That way you can make it more applicable to your own site and hazards, etc.
