Unfortunately not engaged with the IOSH Forum. However, another forum I have used sent me this little gem...

No swearing.

We consider ourselves a family-friendly forum and do not allow any foul language.

There is an automatic word censor in place that changes rude words to bakery products, much to the amusement of most of the members.

Please do not try to get round the word censor by using asterisks, dollar signs, or mis-spelling rude words. This just annoys the mods.

No picture sigs.

We do not allow picture sigs as they tend to break up threads and make them hard to read.

Moving avatars are permitted, but I reserve the right to remove them, or ask you to do so, if they are *really* annoying

Jonathan

This was not meant as a personal dig, but merely for a bit of fun, albeit at someone's expense.

If I have caused any hurt all I can say is...waffles, tea cakes and dough off!

Just joking.

Relevant bakery products include ; tarts, gateaux, cobs, buns (including hot, cross), short tins, long tins ...

And my childhood favourite - malt loaf.

You can also go international on this : pitta, naam, chapati, taco ...

Some bakers also propose sandwiches (of which one can be accused of being "one slice short of")

But if the IOSH IT team are seriously considering this suggestion then they will have to produce a table of equivalences.

Any volunteers for the working group ?

When I posted this thread I immediately thought of you. Can't believe it took you so long to find it.

Waffles to you too.

Aah, wondered if someone would ask that. To be honest, I did not think it appropriate to mention it on the forum - would not like to violate an AUG!

Email me direct if the suspense is killing you.

Ray,

you posted at about 19h00 UK time (20h00 CET) which is past my bedtime. Given appropriate cooperation and buy-in.

Why not go for recipe ingredients ?(bbc.tv.co/food is a good source)

A well constructed, suitably insulting response could be translated as something quite amusing.

Mind you, some of the responses that have appeared on this forum (briefly) would end up looking like a recipe by the sacred Delia for stuffing a pitta. Or even a Donna.

Don't talk to me about andouilettes
