Anyone know whether it is necessary that gas heaters (mains fed)be maintained by a CORGI registered person, also at what frequency do they have to be examined?
I'd be grateful for any info

Hi Mick,
Have just spoken to our heating section and yes they do require checking every 12 months by a CORGI registered engineer.
If the appliances are old and have not been serviced previously they advise every 6 months to ensure that they are working satisfactorly.
