Hi, have had a query on the following scenario:

We have open day with hundreds of public turning up, we have car parking in a adjoining field. If it rains before day or on the day cars could get stuck in mud. Is it just a case of stating "you park at your own risk , we accept no liability"..anyone had any experience of this type? Welcome your comments Kevin

Hi Kevin,

If one car gets stuck you might end up with the entrance/exit blocked, which could be fairly nasty and ugly. I don't think you can just say its people's own risk; on the other hand you don't have to go too far, just getting a local farmer or volunteer with a tractor on-board will do,
