Chris

I am a school governor and sit on the finance committee of our (Primary) school. Our schools is in Nottinghamshire. I understood that most schools "bought in" their H&S Service so I think you will find that most of it is done by an external consultants) via a tender.

Regards

John

Chris,

You should also contact the local authority for the school (LEA). They will usually have an H&S team, even if it is located in a different department, and I believe that many will have a team member specialising or allocated to the Education department.

They should be able to provide you with advice over a suitable job description.
