Posted By tac333 Does anyone know where I can find some information on the transportation of cytotoxics and whether I need to put signs on my vans and supply the relevant codes/informtation for the driver etc? also, do I need a DGSA?
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Posted By Thomas Kennedy I used to regulate clinical waste movements.
You want to get hold of a copy of:
Scottish Technical Note 3 (SHTN3), ‘Management and Disposal of Clinical Waste’ compiled by the NHS in Scotland Property and Environment Forum Executive. It has very good guidance on cytotoxics including carriage.
A good web search or subscription site should locate this for you.
I'm sure the subject is covered in less detail:
"Safe disposal of clinical waste". Health and Safety Commission’s Health Service Advisory Committee (HSAC).
