Posted By Hugo Hi All, Does anyone have knowledge of the requirements for a concrete pump. I have been informed they do not require an MOT, and only a voluntary 6 weekly inspection..or similar is required. I would imagine they would come under PUWER, but apart from that and Management regs etc, is there anything in particular regarding records. I have also been informed LOLER is not relevant but an annual boom inspection is required. Thanks in advanced. Hugo.

Posted By Martyn Hendrie I would not agree that LOLER is not relevant as a concrete pump is a machine used to raise a load. (Concrete) The requirements in LOLER as regards positioning; competence of operator; thorough examination and inspection, etc. all seem relevant to me.
