Posted By Stewart Campbell I need alternatives for bench seating on a construction site and where to obtain them. It goes without saying that it must not be able to be abused, must be comfortable and practical for transporting. (I do not like separate plastic chairs as they can often be used as method for working at height when your back is turned and have a habit of migrating away from welfare facilities)
I have a vision of a folding table with fold away chairs attached to the table. Is this a deluded dream or is there something out there like this?

Posted By Ron Hunter I've seen those very table/chair combos in school dining halls which double up as games halls - but I can't recall the mnfr's name! Maybe check out catering suppliers web pages?

Posted By peter gotch Stewart,
Remember that under CDM2007 Schedule 2 Clause 15 all seats must have backs.
HSE have indicated that they do not intend to enforce this requirement on existing seating, but you are looking for the next generation of seats!
Regards, Peter
